Named After a Very Good Dog
Nala was the family's yellow labrador. The bakery carries her name, and if you look closely at the sign on the cart, you'll find her paw print painted into the apostrophe.

Every sign here was painted by hand — the roof board on the cart, the A-frame out by the road, the sprinkles running down both sides. And on every one of them, the apostrophe in Nala's is a paw print.
It's a small thing, and most people drive past without noticing it. But it's the reason the bakery has the name it has, and it's why nobody around here has ever had to ask who Nala was.

Everything is baked by Leanne in a licensed home kitchen at the top of the driveway on Ware Corner Road. Not a commercial line, not a wholesaler — one person, small batches, made to order.
That's why the menu moves. Some weeks it's lemon raspberry and pistachio; other weeks the whole tray is Twix. The flavors you can pick from are always the ones she's actually baking that month.
The whoopie pies are the exception that never changes. That plain recipe came from her Nana, and it has been a customer favorite from day one.
